When we first moved to New York, I started dressmaking out of our house. I got recommendations from a couple of fabric stores on Long Island, and had more business than I could deal with. But, though I loved designing and creating clothes, I detested working many of the customers. So I shelved that craft until my granddaughter was born in 2009. Then I got my Janome embroidery machine and off I went. Though Claire Ann is "too old" to wear cute little bugs and bunny things, she still let's me knit sweaters for her. Here are some examples of my work.
