It is true what they say, "You can take the girl out of the country, but you can't take the country out of the girl." Gardening is in my blood. I fell in love with English Gardens, and plowing under yard to make room for flowers and vegetables. From 1980 until we moved to Asheville in 2018 my garden was different every year. I do miss the peace and catharsis of working with my hands in the dirt, but as I got older it was starting to be too much. I like my flower pots in the courtyard and my window boxes on the porch railing. Here are some pictures of my New York garden.
